Quickstart

Paste a URL, get your verdict in three minutes.

1. Paste a product URL on the homepage

From pmfkit.com, drop your product URL into the input on the hero. Use the canonical marketing URL, not a deep link to a single landing page. The crawler will discover sub pages on its own.

Your first analysis is free. No signup, no credit card. The result lives in your browser session; sign in if you want it saved across devices.

2. Watch the pipeline run

The result page streams progress as five stages complete: Discovery (we identify the product), Crawl (we read the public footprint), Enrichment (we pull domain age, traffic order of magnitude, GitHub presence, and search rank where available), Component (five analyzers run in parallel: Brand, Distribution, Market, Pricing, Product), and Synthesis (we compose the verdict). End to end takes 180 to 240 seconds for a typical site.

3. Read the three reports

The output is three reports in a deliberate sequence: diagnosis before context before action.

  • Discoveries. What we actually see on the product today: brand, pricing, distribution, traction signals, each with a trust pill.
  • Context. Where this sits in the market: competitor map, value proposition clarity, geographic scope.
  • Strategies. What this team should do next: the stage diagnosis, the focus area, milestones, and the Continue, Pause, or Kill verdict.

Read in order. Strategies that aren't grounded in observed signals are generic; reading top to bottom forces the chain to be visible. If you disagree with the verdict you can walk back to a specific Discoveries claim and challenge the source.

4. Act on the verdict

The verdict is one of three: Continue (keep going on the current path with the named focus area), Pause (one specific thing to fix or test before re investing), or Kill (the evidence says this isn't working, here is the cleanest next move). See the verdict page for what to do with each.

5. Share or claim your report

Every analysis gets a public report card at /r/<slug> you can share or pin. Share buttons (Twitter, LinkedIn, copy link) live in the header of the report card. If you want it saved or rerun later, sign up at /login.
