Why we give you one thing to do this week
Roadmaps are for when you have a team. One thing is for when you are the team.
Why one
Solo and small teams can't do 20 things. They can do one. We pick the highest-leverage action given your stage, your main constraint, and what we observed. So you're not choosing from a long list; you're getting a single next step.
How we choose it
From your main constraint. From your stage (Idea Validation vs Early Traction vs PMF vs Scaling). From the evidence. We don't give "conduct user interviews" to everyone. We give something that unblocks the thing that's blocking you. Sometimes it's a site change. Sometimes it's a small experiment. Sometimes it's fixing one gap in the report (e.g. "add pricing so we can assess fit").
What it looks like
Concrete. Time-bound. One sentence in the report. For example: "Add a clear 'Who this is for' section to your homepage by Friday." Or: "Run 5 user interviews this week and note how they describe the problem." It's in Report 3 (Strategies) and, when we have it, in the CMO report summary. You can ignore it. But if you do one thing, that's the one we'd pick.
How to read your report and when to run a PMF check tie in.
